The view from Conwy Mountain

10 mins walk from the centre of town (you don’t want to be based inside the walls, it’s a tourist goldfish bowl and most places are very tiny), and 5 mins from beautiful open countryside. Spacious rooms with a fantastic view. Unlimited central heating and all mod cons, including a Google box for free internet on the telly. Kirstyn, York stayed April 2015

We have just returned from a holiday here with our son and his family. Great family place, very comfortable and plenty of room. Wonderful views over Conwy and the estuary from the house and from the garden. Great walk down into Conwy a bit steep coming back up but we soon worked out the easier route. We all have very different interests, hill walking ,shopping, visiting places of interest and things to keep my three year old grandson happy. All of these were catered for in the area Wood Family, Mansfield stayed March 2014

We all had a great time in Wales despite the rain! Very clean and large apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Stair gate a great idea. Very comfortable beds and great views of the castle. Good base to travel and visit the surrounding countryside. Very easy to book and damage deposit returned promptly. We all hope to return again, as there is so much to see and do. Many thanks the Harley family, Scotland stayed October 2013

We’ve had a great week in Conwy, with perfect weather along with it. Loved the views from the house and the location; so easy to get to a lot of local attractions. The kids loved the corner bath in the en-suite of the master bedroom plus the fab space at the front of the house for play and relaxation time. We will definitely be back thanks Ian. We’ve read through the ‘visitor’s book’ and we can’t really add anything more – but we will. The chocolates and flowers are a lovely touch and made us feel very welcome. Ditto to all the positive comments … fabulous break great accommodation with fab views. Perfect for celebrating my 60th birthday and anniversary – our travel from ‘Oz’ was worthwhile. As Arny Swartnegger would say “I’ll be back!” Linda & Brian, Janet & Andy, Perth Western Australia stayed May 2012

Had a fab time, total relaxation, peace and quiet. Pottered around Conwy as we holiday here frequently. Took bus to Llandudno which is always fun. The cottage is superb, everything you require, the chocolates & flowers on arrival were a really nice touch. For real ale lovers give the refurbished Albion a try, excellent choice of beers and nice atmosphere, Liverpool Arms for boat and people watching on the quayside. Well stocked Spar Shop on the High Street and probably the best butchers you will find – Edwards http://www.edwardsofconwy.co.uk/ Many many thanks Ian for allowing us into your cottage and we are looking forward already to our return trip in November. Thanks a lot for owners for their hospitality and warm home. It’s good not only for vacations but for remote computer work too because of the Internet they provide. Location of property is convenient for visitors from London (only 2 hours 50 mins from Euston and 5 mins taxi) Conwy is a magnificent old walled town. We visited a lot of interesting places and events: Chester (50 mins by train) – very interesting town, mount Snowdon ( so picturesque views!) Anglesey it’s a pity that it wasn’t the season for Puffins. Llandudno its Victorian Extravaganza and transport festival (both are highly recommended for early May). Zoya & Mikail, Moscow, Russia stayed April / May 2012

We loved the house and spent lots of time pottering around Conwy, the walls, the harbour and marine walk. Wonderful Spring weather – we will be back! Thank you The Collinsons stayed February 2012

‘The accommodation has beautiful views over the castle and hills ~ but I didn’t think they would be so spectacular. A very comfortable, spacious place to stay. Thanks Heather and Ian for the stay.’ Michael Edge Leominster stayed May 2011

For those willing to go a bit further Llangollen and the aqueduct at Pontcysyllte are worth a visit. Ludo and the cards came in handy.
